Getting started with Cohost

1. Meet with your local Cohost

After requesting sign-up, you can meet with your local Cohost to discuss what Cohost can do for you. If a good fit, all we need is property information and a scheduled assessment of the property.


2. We create your property profile

After we assess the property and get professional photos, our team creates your property profile. This gets your home in front of 1 Billion+ users across each listing channel. We then discuss when you want to go live.

3. Leave the work to us 

That's it! We will handle the property going forward. You will be able to block off any dates you would like for personal use. With our owner's dashboard, you can track progress and analytics to see how well your property is doing.

What we do for you

Guest coordination & issue resolution

Say goodbye to difficult guests. As a property manager, Cohost will communicate with guests, answer any question they may have, and resolve issues that may arise. We also provide guests with digital guidebooks full of information about their stay. Paired with our concierge services, Cohost aims to provide top value to both Hosts and Guests.

Cleaning and turnover scheduling after each booking

Cohost provides a detailed cleaning service. Along with the cleaning service, we also provide feedback from every guest visit. This makes us aware of any issues as soon as the guest has left. A linen solution for your home is included in the cleaning and turnover service. Clean linens are essential in providing a 5-star guest experience.

Repair & maintenance coordination

Replacing light bulbs, other small fixes, and basic property maintenance tasks will be handled by us, freeing up your time to enjoy the earnings. We also will be on call throughout your guest’s stay. Make renting out your property an enjoyable experience.

Price, listing, and marketing optimization

Cohost partners with intelligent data to bring data-driven pricing to our Hosts. Based on historic seasonal trends, holiday predictions, past and future supply and demand data, we can maximize both profitability and occupancy rates for you.

Professional photography

New to list your home? Our professional photographers provide high-quality photos for use on multiple rental platforms. High-quality images are important to getting user views and boosting revenue. We offer other specialties such as drone video of the property as well as in-home video tours to make your property stand out above the rest.

Concierge Services

Cohost embeds all the information within your guest correspondence messaging that tracks when a guest or user purchases a service. For example, if you own a property in Vail, CO and a user selects the Liftopia option to purchase ski tickets, you will receive a commission for referring. As a property management company, we strive to provide the most value to both our clients and our guests.

Booking channel and calendar management

With 1.8 billion monthly visitors accessing different booking channels, it's important to have your property listed everywhere while having each channel's calendars synchronized. This puts your property in front of more travelers looking for a place to stay. Our strategic and channel partners continue to add new platforms every week to maximize booking dates for your property. 

Consulting and design services

Managing a short-term rental can be difficult and overwhelming. Cohost will assist you in optimizing your listing from day one guaranteeing you make the most from your listing. Our areas of proficiency include interior design consulting, listing set up, finding short-term rental properties, real estate services, pricing, marketing, multi-channel listing, and operations.   

Licensing & permitting support
We help you set up an LLC and an FEIN for your property. We also provide other legal services such as handling licensing and permitting with your local government. 

Easy payments and analytics

Monthly payouts


You will be paid within 10 days from month end for the previous month's earnings. This allows us to bundle your earnings into one payment reducing transfer fees to zero.

Owner's Dashboard


Cohost provides you with an online portal so you can block off any dates you would like to use your property for personal use. You can also track your property's analytics to see how well it is performing.

Flat rate


Our full-service short-term rental management is a flat rate of 20% of booking income. We are only successful when you are.

Answers to your questions

Where do you advertise my property?

The majority of users book travel through travel sites they are comfortable with. It's important your property is listed on as many of those channels as possible. Here are some examples of the major sites Cohost advertises your property on.

Will I have to do my own taxes?

Yes, and Cohost will make it as easy as possible for you. We have partnered with a tax agency to ensure tax payments are sent to the appropriate government agencies at the time required. Documentation will then be sent to the property owner in order to complete their own taxes.

How does Cohost cover my home from damages?
Homeowners should always inform their insurance company if they do STR. Some channel providers offer rental coverage and liability. Airbnb, for example, provides up to $1 million in host protection insurance. We also have supplemental coverage available through our insurance vendors. Find out more at our support page.
Cohost manages pretty much everything. What will I still need to do?

While we handle most of the routine rental tasks, you still have some things to do. For example, paying your utility and internet bills, taxes, and other things out of our control. We are always available to discuss ways we can help lessen your burden.

My property is on the market, can I still rent it out?
When we say full-service, we mean it. A home on the market can sometimes sit idle for a very long time. Your home is already staged for buyers, which makes it perfect for short-term rental guests.
